I'd be surprised if it lasts 9 months to be honest.

Chuwit might be a former pimp, but he tends to be right about corruption... he has a lot of experience after all. Srettha will be forced to resign if Chuwit's allegations are true.

Or even if the relevant court holds them to be true ...

Despite being the largest single party in Thailand’s House of Representatives, the Move Forward party has announced that it will work in opposition, after parliament overwhelmingly endorsed the Pheu Thai party’s prime ministerial candidate, Srettha Thavisin, yesterday (Tuesday).

In opposition to 11 co-abolition parties and the senate.. tough job.

The powers-that-be may have been able to hold off MFP for now, but the genie is out of the bottle and the progressive movement will only get stronger as time goes on. A mere tip of 10,000 baht, IF the handout happens, won't be enough to enamour the electorate with the Party of Thaksin again. Young people do not care about PT.

There will be change soon enough. You can count on it.

Perhaps.. but maybe instead people will start getting more money in their pockets and change their minds. Money is the key... Thaksin knew this before.. So did the red shirts.. Especially the new law reducing payments to the elderly monthly..  Not alot of people are happy they have to send more money to family members because of this. Bad move for the last government. But maybe that was planned also . Reduce it now and when their new leader takes office increase it even more. Hmm.. something to think about..makes him look so good.. I would bet there were many things planned to get this new pm.. just took time to get it all on place.  I will not be surprised if he steps down for medical reasons and allows the real leader meant to be there take over.

Pita might want to push the closure of the bankruptcy hearing at the courts to avoid, that in four years the establishment will serve the very same old soup of inherited shareholding in a defunct media company with zero activities is being served once more again ????

The next 9 months will be fascinating. Make or break time for Thailand.

It will be both......broken and re-made.

Arguably it is already broken.
