Karaoke chaos: Scout’s dishonour as bar’s Girl Scout-themed staff raises eyebrows

Sexualizing the Girl Scout's uniform in a karaoke venue was done to provide customer's the opportunity to indulge pedophiliac fantasies. It also disrespects, sullies, and stigmatizes the uniform of an organization which aims to instill wholesome and moral values in young women. Morally indefensible, not to mention tacky, and in extremely bad taste.

At 11pm yesterday, Police Lieutenant Colonel Panya Damlek, station chief of Sattahip Police, ordered his officers to locate and detain all the women involved.

Should have been at home doing homework or practicing how to ties knots and escape from hand-cuffs.

Scouting for girls?

It's actually called 'net naree' and only for lower Mattayom girls, who are obviously children.

If it was the blue guide uniform it wouldn't be so perverted but the 'net naree' is sick.

Glad they are stopped.

50 years in the general slammer, no private hospital suite with not one but two fans ....... the works!

The BiB deserve a medal, or give 'em two for a really good job done.

What do people think happens in these karaoke dungeons? The main money spinner is neither booze nor singing - me thinks ????

And school uniforms are taken off so much faster than all that fancy stuff; after all the girls have spent years in these terrible outfits which combine dreadful designs, the poorest of poor fabric quality with unmet high pricing!

Girl Scouts are used to handling tent poles.

There was a news article a few months ago when some Chinese tourist wore actual Thai school uniforms, they made headlines and were warned they could be fined.

Student Uniform Act, BE 2551 (2008)

Any person who wears a student uniform without authorisation or wears any cloth similar to a student uniform, for the purpose of deceiving another into believing him to be a student, shall be liable to a fine not exceeding one thousand baht.

Only possible to be fined if they used any school identifying material.

People on this thread are acting like it's no different than a nurse uniform, a French maid uniform. They don't seem to understand that it's an elementary school girl's uniform.

I have to endure the sight of a grossly overweight 50 year old male teacher who pours himself into a scout uniform and parade around looking atrocious..

Lives just up the road from me.

Would give any child nightmares.

The 'Girl Guides' in Thailand are aged 4 to 20....so not hardly all are in elementary school and some are of legal consenting age.

(...or maybe Google's info is incorrect?)

Not the green uniform, it's for under 14s.
