Why does it take so long to receive mail from Australia?
my bank in Australia apparently sent me a letter 6 weeks ago demanding my Thai tax ID, still have not got it. Did get an email from them yesterday threatening to freeze my accounts if i don't send the form back ! Same as when they sent me a "know your customer" form last year...got it 2 days before the deadline, posted 6 weeks earlier and for some reason it had a German post office stamp on it ! -

Interesting thing was the technology was offered to the Chinese Emperor, and he arrogantly demanded that King George III bend his knee in subservience to the Middle Kingdom. Look how that worked out for the Chinese, eh? I think you need to read some real history, not the self-loathing Dalrympe bs. And certainly not Hollywood movie versions. He is far less coherent than in the past, it is very hard for him to continue a train of though for more than 15 seconds, alot of rambling, complaining, playing the victim card, and juvenile name calling as usual. Even most of the CEO's he met with recently expressed shock at his incoherence. He is in the beginning stages of severe cognitive decline and it's a horrific thing to watch, he's an increasingly dangerous man and having him as the oldest elected president in history would not be a good thing. He rambles on and on. He is, and has always been the master of slogans, and memes, but the public is just getting tired of the same game, day in and day out. He does not possess the creative juice to adapt, and that is absolutely killing his campaign, at this point. He is headed for the greatest humiliation of his lifetime. He's old, he's tired, he's now the oldest person to ever run for president, he's feels like he's 85 or 90 right now, he seems to be losing interest, he seems to be losing the plot, his message is getting tired, he has no ability to dance on his feet and be creative, and adapt, and he just seems to be disintegrating before our eyes, which is a beautiful thing to watch. And now, he seems to regret his choice of Vance, and seems very stressed out over Harris. Can't blame him for that. He does seem to be imploding. -

THE TRUTH ABOUT RUSSIANS: I find the indifference with which the Russians treat the Ukrainian tragedy appalling. Meeting Russian tourists in Thailand and seeing that they pretend to be completely unaware of the wounds inflicted by their government, by their army, in their name and on their behalf, to the Ukrainian population, is unbearable. During the Vietnam War, or the campaigns in Iraq and Afghanistan, it was not uncommon to encounter Westerners who openly disagreed with, even vigorously protested, their government's policies. We can see it today with Israel. We can see it within Israel, where there is a strong public opinion challenging the course of action followed by the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government. The Russians, on the other end, don't. Never. With very few exceptions, Russians are used to passively accept whatever their ruler decides for them. They are ready to carry out any order given to them without asking ethical or moral questions. Russians constitute a threat to the freedom of the people living in their neighboring countries and worldwide, first and foremost because they place no value on their own personal freedom. A people of slaves, they don't think twice about enslaving anyone who comes within reach. If you don't believe me, ask the Belarussians, the North Koreans, the Cubans, the Vietnamese, the Chinese, the Venezuelans, the Nicaraguans... -
