Chonburi — Four Thai men were arrested Friday morning, August 25th, for collaboratively stealing road construction equipment and materials worth thousands of baht.

The incident took place on August 18th when three steel-reinforced concrete formworks went missing from a roadwork site in the Takhian Tia area of Banglamung district, Chonburi. The tools belonged to the Laem Chabang Civil Engineering Company Limited.

The company subsequently filed a report to the police, which led to the arrest of four men believed to have stolen the items.

You can point all you like the road is still there but your number plate has gone ????

Because Thais cannot do sums, overordering is rife throughout the country. There are piles of power poles and other equipment abandoned by the side of most roads.
