Yes, they were some kind of reflective device and they were used to measure the distance from the earth to the moon with lasers. But Jewish and used to start fires in California?

What has a religion get to do with this?

Some believe that men never went to the moon. If they are right, how did these 'relective devices' get put in place?

I'll kick this off by talking about one of my favourite mystery; The Titanic Hoax.   We have to follow the money on this. Big international players were involved, and thousands of navvies, a

I don't know. Ask MTG. She's the one with the Jewish space lasers starting California fires theory.

To be honest ES, I don't know what, or who, you are talking about.

Who is MTG?

Don't think it was either.

The lab leak stuff is a 'red herring'.

Come on now Brian. There is no shame on saying that you DO believe men walked on the moon. Don't matter about other's viewpoints.

And, by the way, this flat-earth stuff seems to be gathering momentum.

This topic is about others viewpoints and quite clearly as I said, if you are a flat earther then of course you don't believe in the moon landings. Be that by man or craft, let alone the Mars probes or even satellites and GPS. Its just not coded in your beliefs that all these images of a round world taken from space can be real.

So to get to the bottom of why he does not believe in the moon landings you need to get to the source.

Agreed.

There have been landings on the moon. India is exploring the 'South side' at the mo. But for man to even break through the Earth's gravitational pull and withstanding the Van Allen Rediation Belts would be a feat.

Ok, here you go….

And as for breaking free of the earth’s gravitational pull,  it would seem there is plenty of physical evidence from every Apollo mission and every planetary probe sent out ?

Even NASA acknowledge the insurmountable (as of 2005) problems of the radiation. It was estimated then that lead 4 feet thick would be needed to ensure the astronauts didn't suffer.

Were you able to see the youtube video with link to curious droid ? He explains exactly how it was done and why lead shielding would have made it much worse for the crew.

Watched it. Thanks for the link.

I'm wondering why, in 2005, they had seemingly forgotten about events 35 years earlier.

'''NASA's vision for space exploration calls for the return to the moon, as preparation for even longer journeys to Mars, and beyond. But there is a showstopper; radiation. Space beyond low-Earh orbit is awash with intense radiation from the sun, and from deep galactic sources, such as supernovas. Finding a good shield is important.''

NASA Statement, 24th June 2005.

Just adds to the mystery.

Yes but you say you're a "Flat-Earther and everything it entails." so no surprise really.

I couldn't have put it better myself.

You! You, doubter you! Did you not see the astronauts jumping and skipping and playing golf?

A couple of dodgy things with the Apollo programme worth mentioning. One is the radiation belt. Any astronauts wanting to travel out into space would have been subjected to it.

The 700 cartons of data have been lost. Not one or two boxes. No! The whole lot. Is that because modern technology would have shown it all to be farcical nonsense.

Plenty of strange, unexplained deaths of people involved in the Apollo missions.

For me, the biggest mystery, is how people can still believe that men walked on the moon. But hey! I'm only the messenger.

The body language of Aldrin, Armstrong and Collins in their press conference after their supposed lunar feat is very compelling. Like they know they are participating in something very wrong.

The greatest mystery of this age is why so many morons follow Donald Trump? He makes America and Americans look stupid! Wake up America!

Same exact sentence can be used about Joe Biden. And I'm no Trump supporter.

Like they didn't want to be there. But were told they must.

They went on to lead quiet and unremarkable lives, far from what one would expect of such heroes. Aldrin drowned himself in alcohol and once even awkwardly confessed to a little girl that they had never been there.

I do agree with her that 9/11 was an inside job. Don't know about Sandy Hook and some other stuff.

I reckon the wildfires are more to do with a box of matches than some lazer.

India has just sent a ship to the moon.

However, the US did it - manned - back in 1969. Been a talking point ever since. Many ask why we have not ventured there again since the early 1970s.

We have been told the 'know-how' has been lost. Or, it has been done already; why do it again? Or, it's too expensive.

Considering that most of us have more technology on out laps, or in our hand, than they had back then, I'm wondering why we don't do regular trip there by now.

It's a mystery.

because the Germans all died

Wrong.

The radiation would be problematic for long term stays, but the Apollo crews were flying through it for minutes.

vague memory, but i thought some large telescopes have been used to image the landing sites and equipment left behind. No question then about the done part.

There are Chinese, Japanese and Indian photos of the Apollo 11 descent stage, still sitting on the Moon.

Recent NASA images taken from lunar orbit show the lunar soil disrupted by astronaut footsteps.

I don't think you are on any money there D. The space station is only 200 miles up. The furthest man has gone is 400 miles up. Radiation is a big problem.

Really! Lunar soil disrupted by footsteps! Dear me!!

Some people, are still alive, and know the truth about it all. Whether that will be revealed in 2026, remains to be seen.

I understand the radiation issue.

Let me ask you a question:

the Soviets sent living organisms to the Moon and back. Were they lying about that, too?

BTW, Gemini XI flew up to 739 miles.

But you still can't answer why many spacecraft have imaged Apollo hardware sitting on the Moon.

If you asked NASA personnel a question about the Moon landings, and they couldn't answer, you would conclude they had no credibility. Likewise, if you cannot answer questions about proof, you have no credibility.

Amazing how many people here need remedial classes in science and critical thinking.
