September 1, 20232 yr It would be fun to suppose that he expected to get off scot free and they done him up like a kipper, in which case he might feel like Julian Assange, who spent 7 years holed up in the Ecuadorian embassy, and then got thrown into prison. But one year (down to 6 months for good behaviour - down to 3 months for medical reasons) was probably all part of the deal. He can just put his feet up for a while.
