Praram 9 hospital. Khun Thaksin is or at least was, one of the major shareholders, together with some doctors. 

Thats the reason some people assume, he could be there.

I really wonder what people think, that a former PM and billionaire is treated like a crackhead selling heroin? Only in 3rd world countries like the US.

Healthy lungs - 95%>100%.

Under 95% its go see doctor time.

Mine in January 65% hence 3 months in ICU.

One must assume less than 6 months as people who are sentenced to more than 6 months are automatically deported on release or is it those convicted of an offence that in law carries a sentence of 6 months or more?

Did they realistically think he would be treated like any other  prisoner without wealth? Did they even realistically consider the possibility that a deal with the army was not struck before his return?

Well the Thai elite didn't give a <deleted> about Thailand's image after the army rigged the system and took power these last 9 and a bit years so why should anyone care about a returning leader of a party that won many more seats than any of the previous mob?

Every prisoner in the system should make a written application for a pardon if this fugitive who ran away to escape justice and has his sentence reduced then so should every other individual  otherwise it’s double standards the poor get a miserable life in the Nick where the wealthy ones just throw there money at those in charge and buy there freedom

I suppose I have lived too long and studied too much history. I used to be affronted by bribery in other countries and was supportive of demanding, under my countries laws that businesses be forbidden to pay “bribes or kickbacks”. I used to be affronted by countries having different treatment of legal prisoners based on their wealth. Then I received an education and find I can no longer point fingers at others while my own country, under whatever guise … “campaign contributions”, or being able to hire well heeled legal firms … results in the same ends as to what some are pointing to here in the Kingdom of Thailand. You see, I am an American and my country moves further from the ideals these days.
