I also have to season 3 months despite the law

 

2 x balance over 400k letters that day

2 x bank statement that day

2 last extension

 

I will have copies of visa from old passport

Last entry but no TM6 issued

 

2 x photo of me

5 x2 color pix of us around house and house no

2 x map

2 x each page of passport - 96 pages

2 x dated that day wedded still  update from ampur

2 x her id card front

2 x her id rear

2 wedding cert front

2 x wed cert rear

2 x blue house book

2 aware of overstay

2 x photo page passport

 

total of 32 plus they want 2 x 48 page passport so rather than drive back I have prepped 

 

so 128 pages oh and of course occupation of parent deceased 50 years ago, decomposing was not considered amusing 

They now have more family pictures than me

fee 5700 with multi entry @3800

 

Is there any thing else I have forgotten, the pile of docs seems to get thicker each year

Just take it on the chin and get on with life. It's only once a year and it's a lot cheaper than using an agent. (Thought I'd just get that one in before they chime in!)

 

Oh and consider yourself lucky that you have the 400k in the bank thus avoiding the income method. That can add a considerable amount of paper to your 'doorstep' of docs.

Yeah, it's a pain, I have just completed my own annual battle (Samut Prakan). But no novelties this year, except they have changed the form declaring you understand the enormous import of the application. I downloaded the one from the IO website but of course it's out of date. Did you not need it (as it is not in your list)?

 

I always need only TWO months bank balance above 400K, as per. And I only copy relevant (ie used) pport pages.

 

Of course it's a hassle each year but it's actually easier than many other countries and much cheaper. Certainly it is NOT worth using one of these “agents” that some AN posters rave about - unless of course your marriage or documents are dodgy.

Clearly the OP is doing the extension himself.

Even if was using agent it would be "extension based on retirement"

I was not even suggesting he was not doing it himself, obviously (but not to you). The comment and sentiment is mine, as part of response to his mention of the cost.

And if you bother to read the OP you'll see it is "extension based on MARRIAGE", not retirement.

Last time (and the time before) in Korat, we only brought in one copy of each. Then after signing, the stack was then copied at our expense. Saved a bit of signing fatigue.

I do not come here to be insulted I have a wife for that, they themselves refer to c saen as in c rai  c mai, I am unfamiliar with turps I always drink more expensive, 3 month old chateau bottled  brake fluid, It tastes awful but I can stop any time I want.????

Last year's photo - don't ask why - but they wanted 2x copies of last years photos too - i think you can submit anything here as I very much doubt they actually archive last year's photos for comparison.

Copy of your 90 day report receipt.

Copy of your first original entry visa if not in same passport or evisa (the first non-imm O you arrived on). 

Yes several passports ago and latest entry stamp.

When my mrs did the TM30 they put a note to keep in passport and date for my 90 days .

 

Jesus.. 27 years of doing this! Crazy. We have our next trip planned already for my 90-day Non-O ME run and all that baht to be spent overseas (japan this time). If the IO policies here weren’t so ludicrous, perhaps we would have taken a trip within the country supporting local business instead. Oh well, guess the masses of expected Chinese will make up for it!  ????

Yep 27 x 128 docs over 3000 pages of unwanted paper, I get  visas for many countries with the click of a mouse!

 

Of course rather than expensive storage there are in many offices heaps of "scrap paper" when you turn over there are the passport copies and address ad other details details of us foreigners a scammers trove

 

It is what it is got it down to under an hour deliver 10 collect.

 

The use and promotion of agents just makes the sleaze continue for low grade low paid clerks who get a pension, status, credit rating for wearing a stiff smart uniform and the much prized opportunity to be rude to farangs all day and extort gifts, favors sexual, financial and other from the more gullible,
