  • Kwasaki would not like to hear you talk about the risks involved with his motorcycling.............????   He 100% new the risks, but the love of his hobby was paramount to him.............

  • Nobody needs to tell us bikers about the danger ,look how many people die from cancer or something else and have not had the frills. Derek is riding his fireblade in the clouds so let's just say goodb

Very sad indeed. Let's hope others on this board realize just how dangerous motorbikes are in Thailand and consider that it is much safer to take a Song Tow, taxi, bus, walk or just about any other means of transportation.

Buses are dangerous. Motorbikes arent dangerous if you pick your spots. I feel safer on a mb than a bus.

I feel more exposed when walking and avoid a mini bus at all costs

Oh no! What a shock! Kwasaki was a very valued member of the forum, a real old timer but kept the pace! I didn't always agree with him but always could work it out. One thing I am 100% convinced of:

Kwasaki had his heart in the right place.

What a loss for family, friends and everyone who got to cross his path.

May you rest in peace buddy!

So sorry to hear this

RIP & condolences to his family

Condolences…RIP brother Kawasaki

I didn't know Kwasaki, didn't always agree with what he said on here but always appreciated the part he played in this biking forum and his efforts to inform people.

One thing's an absolute certainty - this forum will be SO much poorer without his contributions ???? . We'll miss him.

Very sad to hear about the demise of another UK expat and fellow motorcycling enthusiast.  In the last year two of my British acquaintances have been killed in motorcycling accidents - take care out there...

That is sad news, indeed. RIP. I quite enjoyed his posts even if I did not always agree with them. Condolences to his family and friends.

It really doesn't matter what you feel.

The fact is: 80% or more of road fatalities in Thailand are people on a motorcycle.

But it's your risk. You do you, man.
