Two unidentified pubgoers were found to have taken illegal drugs during a Pattaya police raid on an entertainment venue early Wednesday morning, October 18th. The venue also did not have an operating license.

The 2 AM raid on the “Rave” nightclub located in South Pattaya in the Banglamung district, was carried out following a tip from concerned citizens. About 50 customers were found inside the venue, drinking and dancing, when the police arrived.

Pattaya police separated the customers into groups of males and females, before checking their ID cards as well as testing their urine for substance abuse. Two unidentified individuals were discovered to have consumed illegal drugs, while none were underage.

Which could possibly have been quite difficult these days.

A raid ?  Now would that mean in other words that some did not get their weekly brown enveloppes in time ?

Who cares whether two customers had taken drugs? They would probably get the same result if they did surprise urine tests at any 7-11 after midnight.

Colour me chocked. Only two people taken illicit substances and no underage drinkers (mind you 2 am might be a bit late for them to be out). There was a time, when Pattaya was a fun city, when if you raided somewhere at 2am you would net a pile of 70 year olds playing bridge

The police seem to.... a valid warning to users that if it is in their system, beware where you go.

What were they doing? :giggle: did they need pulling apart?

Someone forgot the payment, how long has it been operating?

You know I was not safe until they raided this club.

Now, I can sleep comfortably.

Pattaya sucks now...
