'Pizzagate’ gunman killed by police in North Carolina after traffic stop
Erased Podesta emails? Where did you get that, Mr. Flat Earth? Is there any conspiracy silliness you do not believe? Hey, if it gives you some sort of psychic joy to believe Hillary and Tom Hanks lead an international cabal of people who kidnap, rape, roast and eat babies, knock yourself silly buying into it. On the other hand, if you want to see someone who absolutely has contact with pedos, Google George Nader, Tim Nolan and Tevfik Arif. Here's something for you to ruminate over, if you're looking for pedos.... -

Minister launches emergency plan as deadly dust chokes Thailand
The worst air pollution that I experienced in South East Asia was in Kuala Lumpur, followed by Chiang Mai. Having experienced very little of that in life it was a horrible experience, and I feel sympathy for anyone who has to live in such areas. A lot of the KL smog came over from Sumatra, Indonesia, where farmers were burning fields. It’s a problem that requires coordination and political will … which I see no signs of. -

Higher-resolution dental imaging available here in Thailand? Advantages for patient?
Here is just another thought on this Topic, from the Google AI... Are there any up-to-date radiologists here who can learnedly cast better light on this question? For example: https://www.dental.upenn.edu/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/fac_perspective_final.pdf Should the dental office have both CT and DBCT scan equipment? -

The taxi driver wasn't happy with my review.
Oh.... In fact, I had been totally taken in by his story. You mean.... His account is not based on a true account? ... Based on as much truth as your Cowardian (Noël) theories of self-aggrandisement... -

Gulf of America.
Still don't get it? Dictionary definition of in general: usually,or in most situations. I did not claim only or all anti-Trumpers were leftists because the record, as you have given, shows otherwise. DUH! You need to unclutter your mind from your feverish anti-Trump agenda. -

Strange and annoying things here in land of smiles
Us foreigners make up a tiny % of their customers, so all the complaints in the whining OP are customer service requirements for the majority of their customers. With the limited product warranties here, Thai customers will expect the staff to set up and test electronic items so they can see them working. This even applies to smaller items like light bulbs - and in a Homepro they have a lighting board ro test the bulbs. If you don't want your new mobile or TV deboxing and setting up, just tell them. I just say "mai Tong krap' when the reach for the Stanley knife to open a box. The high staff numbers in Homepro is no problem to me, and there's usually a department specialist amongst all the general 'light bulb testing' sales staff who can offer real advice .... but you'd need to be able to speak Thai. The magnetic sign in the gas stations serves a safety purpose .... unlike in most of the West they are not self service stations, so the sign is to stop you driving off with the pump nozzle still in your tank. And I've just sold my 6 year old high km car - and the paintwork still look new with no scratches on the hood .... so that's not even a real issue. I also picked up our new car recently, and the Missus had a lucky day and time to collect the car .... and she expected a bit of ceremony for the big day. So no, Thailand is not like the grey, miserable West .... and it's all the better for it's unique customs.- 1

Quote: "When you sell, you aren't necessarily always buying back into the 'same market'. In some cases, people are making a change to a different city, state, or country. But, in any case, buying back into the same market has not been a problem for me--either in the US or here". Yes indeed. The Farmers "Up North" have sold their farms (their sons not wanting to farm anymore). They bought a lavish motorhome and live in Arizona. Plenty of cash left, to support more than an occasional square dance. Some of them enjoying a "second spring", sometimes disturbing 30 year old marriages. Never have I seen happier old folks. By selling their land in exchange for a lavish motorhome with plenty of cash left. In other words: One must not necessarily buy into "the same market". Some buy into the "Thai-Market", but that's another story.
