Have you ever gotten an STD in Thailand ?

Featured Replies

A question primarily for the mongers I guess.

What was it?

How did you deal with it?

What lessons did you learn?

What advice would you give?

How painful ?

I would think most consumers of Pattaya's most popular product would have to admit that they have - although maybe not here, as it's not that kind of Forum!  Gonorrhoea, Chlamydia and herpes must be rife!

if you pick it up early it's not painful, if you are late it can be briefly painful before antibiotics kick in

genital warts is common with thai girls as they didn't have HPV vaccine when young, this means many men will get it

if you are genuinely concerned with picking up gonorrhea, Chlamydia or syphilis, do Doxy PEP 200mg within 72 hours

Being able to take the plunge without fear of consequences was a factor as well.

I'm asking out of curiosity really.

Just to see how many people here caught something with girls.

I was expecting more action on this thread honestly but maybe people are shy ?

But thanks. I'll remember Doxy PEP 200mg :)

it's not something people will want to admit, Britman2 has posted about it before.

There is a stigma with it, if someone got a throat infection and got antibiotics big deal, but if it's an STI people start clutching their pearls

I would understand that IRL but on here ?

I mean you're talking about it, nobody knows you for real, nobody can identify you , etc...

And nobody is taking the piss so far.

But hey...

gonorrhea

antibiotics from a doctor

the second time I got it years later I tried the same antibiotics. It didn't work. Visit the doctor, get a different antibiotic.

One time I got it from a BJ.

Advice: Don't risk getting something and then infect your wife or gf.

Come on

Got something 10 years ago though.

Started because my dick got hurt by my girlfriend's vagina.

She didn't cut her hair properly and my skin would constantly rub against it till it started to bleed a bit.

Then some microbe took the opportunity to atomize my cock proper.

That was painful af.

Never found out what it was.....

Gonorrhea twice. Very painfull. I was afraid to pie because of that burning feeling. Was cured with AB. Now always check if the girl has a conscientious hygienic behaviour and had stayed safe. By this I blame the dirty farangs for those problems.

Not yet,  if unsure - condom rips/comes off, ya didn't put one on...bla bla bla.... 4 x 250mg (all at once) Zithromax  will clear you up....

unlikely to work now, plus that's only for one type of STI

I'm pretty good now at identifying the STI based on symptoms, more common are gonorrhea, Chlamydia, mycoplasma genitalia, based on that use different antibiotics

Na, Thai ladies married to farangs like to step out, and bareback is always on the table with them. White women at home were no different.   A man who likes to bareback can spread the spore to the marital bed pretty quickly.

Thailand: yes

Philippines: yes

Cambodia: yes

Laos: yes

Myanmar: yes

Indonesia: yes

Malaysia: yes

It's pretty simple. You feel the symptoms coming on, then treat yourself to the current treatment.

HIV is difficult for a male to catch in a heterosexual interaction. I do get myself tested every 6 months or so. I do know a few who caught it. They were sharing needles.
