Pattaya —A young man, traveling from Suphan Buri to attend the fireworks show in Pattaya, fell from the fifth floor of a hotel early on Saturday morning, November 25th. The victim, believed to have been intoxicated, survived the fall but sustained severe injuries, according to Pattaya police.

The incident occurred at around 6:45 AM at an unnamed hotel in the central Pattaya area near Beach Road, Nongprue sub-district, Banglamung district, Chonburi province.

The victim, identified by Pattaya police as Mr. Kamalap Boonsong, 21, was found injured on the ground after falling from the balcony of his room on the 5th floor. He suffered severe injuries, including a head wound with profuse bleeding. Rescue personnel provided initial medical treatment before urgently transporting him to the hospital.

Upon questioning, Ms. Kittiya Sucharit, a 24-year-old friend of the injured person, explained to the police that she and Mr. Kamalap had come to Pattaya to attend the International Fireworks Festival. After spending time at a bar, they returned to their room at around 3:30 AM.

So at 06:45 he decided to go take a breath of fresh air on the balcony and leaned over a tad too far.

A great weekend...

Maybe just a smoke, one he will regret. Another unnamed hotel, wonder if we have the low rail issue.

Low rails on balconies are usually okay until alcohol is entered into the mix...

I believe I can fly.........thud!

We have drunk idiots that have zero clue of the concept of gravity. We don't have a low balcony rail problem. Its a myth.

Post a half dozen pictures of these allegedly low rails that are much lower than European or N American norms

Been here many years pal and although only a six foot guy, saw plenty in older hotels. They did exist, maybe a few remain.
