Pattaya —A young man in Pattaya met a tragic end on December 3rd when he was electrocuted to death. The incident occurred at an abandoned rental room in the Nongprue sub-district, Banglamung district, Chonburi province.

At around 11:30 AM, Pattaya police received a report of a person getting electrocuted at a building near the Mapprachan reservoir. Upon arrival, police and rescue workers found the body of Mr. Thepprathan Kamjornklang, 25, lying face up on the ground in front of an abandoned rental room.

 

Initial investigations revealed that Mr. Thepprathan had been attempting to steal copper wires when he came into contact with live electrical wires. The wires had been cut and pulled down from the ceiling, indicating that the deceased was in the process of removing them, Pattaya police said.

Years ago in a factory in China we set up an Internet connection. Came in one morning and everything was down - someone had stolen all the copper wiring  into the building.

First of all, electrocuted and death is redundant. Electrocuted means you died, lol

 

Second, one of the last Darwin winners of 2023.

The "coppers" were in action before the coppers arrived. Still sad someone stoops to that level for money.

Sound like his friend was in on it too who "Followed" him there.

Sad young live lost.

He won't do that again.

Too much overuse of the word “tragic” by Thai news. Why is this case tragic?

I wish I could feel some sympathy, but looking inside myself, it just isn't there.
