And why should they care? Overall, would you say the Shinawat clan did more harm than good for the country? If you think they did more harm, then a coup was the next best thing I guess.

Unbelievable people on here. She was ousted by what is the most serious criminal act in a democracy  "a military coup".

No, she was not.  She was removed from office by the Constitutional Court for abuse of power, she was not PM at the time of the coup.

Here the list for you to contemplate.

- Rolls-Royce and Thai Airways bribery case. Case grind to a halt

- Red Bulll heir mowed down Police Senior sgt - nothing heard

- Bangkok police chief received montly payment of 50k since 2017 - matter closed

- Theft of funds for the poor - nothing heard

- Suthep's police station corruption case - acquitted

By the way Yingluck not charged and convicted for corruption.

Rolls Royce case - Ground to a halt because RR refused to provide evidence or cooperate.

Red Bull - Plenty heard, there's still a warrant out for him.

Police Chief's B50k was investigated and found to be legitimate.

The police station case - as you say acquitted.

Yingluck was charged with and convicted of abuse of power, that is corruption.

The arrest warrant was illegally issued for a crime she didn’t commit. There is no doubt that the warrant is considered null and void.  Thus the slate is now cleared. Reasoning  skills are required here.

Which reasoning skills are you using?   Which warrant was issued illegally?   Which crime didn't she commit? Why do you think her slate is cleared, have you forgotten the B500bn rice pledging conviction?

" has been residing in self-exile abroad following the 2014 coup orchestrated by army chief-turned-prime minister Prayut Chan-o-cha."

She was respected by Thai people especially in the poorer North and was globally outward visiting UK etc and forward looking. BritScot is so correct and well supported on here.

BritScot was "so" not correct and any support for his inaccurate assertions is misguided.  He claimed that she was removed in a coup.  She was not.

Absolutely, if you are innocent!!! Only stupid people don't run away!!! When you are incarcerated, it is much more difficult to find and present evidence of your innocence. Besides, otherwise she would have been in prison for the last 10 years INNOCENT!!!

You are supporting a lack of faith in the justice system.....she was found guilty by the way!

Should I come to your home and switch on your TV? Or maybe read to you from the news?

You should try it yourself sometime, it's interesting to learn about the world out there.

You can talk only BULL<deleted> without any evidence. Same the most keyboard warriors who needed attention.
It is just the wishy washy what YOU tell. No evidence!!! Just BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, ....

Did his scheme cost the country B500bn and was it fraudulent like Yingluck's?

Just curious how you came out with 500B loss. Did you read the final audit statement by the Office of the Auditor General or just a convenient number that everyone ape.
