Xiaomi 12 and NFC?

Featured Replies

Did anyone buy a xiaomi 12(the one with snapdragon 8 gen 1) in thailand and does it comes with NFC that is working in thailand, spec says there is nfc but its region dependent, hence asking.

12 5G has NFC functionality, well that's what the sales person said, plus you can see it on the phone, however I haven't used it in Thailand, i got it in case i need it when going to UK

I use a Redmi Note 10 Pro which has the exact same options as above and works just fine in Thailand.  Hard to imagine a newer/better model wouldn't have at least the same functionality.  I also remember the "region dependent" statement in the specs when I bought it, reckon it's a standard Xiaomi cut and paste spec.

Sometimes the newer models are a downgrade. It pays to double check.
