America has a long tradition of believing the government is out to get the people and Donald Trump offers that message back to them, as the "outsider".

Every politician in America plays the polarisation card, claiming that they and they alone will be the outsider who will clean out the swamp. Trump is the reductio absurdium of that.

For midwit liberals, he is everything they despise about the lower classes such as the blunt racism and sexism. To them democracy means a polite sensible bureaucrat on the throne who changes nothing. Any threat to that to them is anti-democracy.

Obviously on this website there are more blue collars, so we should concentrate on them:

For midwit blue collars, he is a big middle finger to the establishment. Obviously in truth he is just the status quo with stage management.

The midwit blue collar like him because he annoys the midwit liberals. They laugh at the liberals for taking him literally ("fake news"), so it gives them a sense of superiority that liberal midwits do not understand the kayfabe (false theatrical front) of Trump.

They also see in him a little bit of themselves with his crass taste in gold and chandeliers, which is how they imagine they would furnish their place if they were rich.

Neither side wish to engage in the actual tedious details of politics. Politics was simply a spectator sport which has unexpectedly become their religion. And as with any religion there is a deep emotional investment and so considerable interest in the topic.

Yes.

True.

Business model. Trump topics get posted often to inflame the countless feminine members, usually hailing from nanny states, suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrom. Guaranteed to generate lots of pages (and so, page views) filled with ignorant assertions repeated from legacy media. There is no cure, fortunately for the model. Trump is one of those gifts that keep on giving.

Famous optics! This snowflake should of trade marked that image thats been

etched in the minds of many moon howlers, Cultural Marxist and Conservative activists.

Give this one a safe space and a cuttle toy, very deserving, me thinks.

I like your terminology “countless feminine members”.

I’ve tuned out. I’ll reengage when he gets buried in his fraud case (or not, that tune out thing), and again for his defamation trouncing. And of course, for his doomed March traitor trial.

But until then and in between, he’s gone dull, whiney, and very repetitious. His hat wearing goons are just retard losers hoping for a little attention. Hard pass. Even anti vaccine idiot skeptic’s get shown the door fast these days. We tossed someone out of our condo recently for telling us to do our own research.

If he wins, my attitude will be that the young didn’t show and deserve the drubbing they will get in spades. And then I’ll tune out even more.

If Biden wins, it will just be dull competency and the usual Repub stonewalling with nothing else to offer, so I’ll largely tune out in that case as well.

As my fave Repub loon, Anne Colter, says, Trump killed off a lot of his old retard base with Covid. Sweet.

Dems have added 3M new voters, and the repeal of Roe will bleed him dry in the suburbs. Just not enough toothless old Gomers that he somehow failed to convince to drink bleach in the sticks to counteract that.

So the election will likely not be the nailbiter that sells ad space for the media. Call that tune out lite.

I think Trump stands out as the only hope for the US, for democracy and for politics. He is actually the only one (ever in the news) that is different from the Sunak, the Macrons and the Scholzs, the Haleys, and the Bidens.

I will certainly vote for him if he keeps promising to cut all aid to Ukraine and not start any more wars. War is the ultimate evil and starting wars, as the US does, is the hallmark of an evil Empire. Do I believe him on all things, no, of course not, he tells lies, and may well be lying, plus he has to contend with deep state. If he is elected and starts an anti-war policy, I suspect he will be killed by the CIA.

Funnily enough, although he sails close to the wind, I'm personally convinced that he is much more honest than any politician in America and less likely to line his own pockets.

I'm also probably one of only a few people on these boards ever to have worked with Trump, although admittedly it was a long time ago in 1992.

There are two types of people that are interested in Trump. The first group are those that are too stupid to see that it's a cult that they've been sucked into. The second group are the ones that see it's a cult and can't believe there are people dumb enough to fall for it.

When is the Koolade party anyway for the first group?

Because looking at American politics makes me feel better.  Those guys live in a gun crime drug ridden <deleted> hole.

Trump is interesting because he is a chaotic figure.  He personally thrives on chaos and discord and brings that with him in his political influence.

There are groups of cultural conservatives and conservative billionaires who support him because they believe that they can control or at least influence him once he is in office.  However, I suspect that his random, discordant management style will lead to him being an ineffective president.

Remember, this is a man who inherited over 1/2 a billion dollars and is now worth about 1/10 that much.  It takes a special kind of "genius" to lose that much money.

As a  America First member(cultist ), since 2015, we have this thing that bonds us ,patriotism, judeo- christian values & a obsession for the Flag and what the Republic stands for! Many of us have a extreme hate for communism & radical leftist ideas of socialism ,open borders ,illegal  migration, crime infested s - holes, illegal drugs , welfare and government controlling our lives & our money.

I am fascinated by people who are so gullible they actually send Trump money. A billionaire needs money?

I am also fascinated by his proposition he has presidential immunity from prosecution, because if that were true, Biden could order Trump's assassination tomorrow.

People slow down to gawk at traffic accidents, Trump and his 91 indictments are no different.

Trump embracing the American flag reminds me of Samuel Johnson's aphorism about patriotism being the last refuge of a scoundrel.

You can clearly see her looking around first before her big wail. Not exactly spontaneous.

Whatevs. You take pleasure in some chump’s torment. Very you. Me? Not so much.

Can we come together as Trumptrash and Normie and express surprise that that’s a woman? I was sure it was a guy. So thanks, I guess.

95% conviction rate on fed crimes. And he has 91 charges. They do not indict if they aren’t at least 95% sure they can convict.

That’s a lot of well coordinated political persecution from coma addled Biden, huh? Are globalists and the deep state helping too?

Let me laugh at you: Is he innocent of all 91 charges?

All democrat party member prosecutors ! Bragg,James,Fanni and Smith.

They never expected Trumps popularity to spike upwards !

Independents( voters who dont commit to a political  party)are coming

over big time.

Do you believe that criminals are entitled to prosecutors and judges of their own specific political preferences?

or do they just get what they get?

If they commit crimes in blue states, should trials be moved to red ones to be on the safe side?

Because that’s what Trump believes.

Oh, you deserved it. Try to be less of a chump next time. Learn to think for yourself.

You’re overly attached to your years old meme, and your fantasy object who looks at you like something he scrapped off his shoe.

You could use a dose of tune out yourself.

No, it turned out YOU were so attached to it that you needed to lie about it, not surprisingly. Now you're in tears at being revealed as a chump and laughed at.

You'll get over it. :)

But you thought the .gif I posted was a delusion as well, LOL. The evidence seems piling up and pointing to the inevitable conclusion that it's just you yourself who's deluded. :) As I advised earlier after you admitted torment, try to be less of a chump and think for yourself.

I agree with all you say ,  particularly about his lack of warmongering , which for me separates him from many of his predecessors, Unfortunately his anti woke stance has made him a target of the "Oh so tolerant" progressive liberals who's fury would put a scorned woman to shame. A few of them on here manage to mention his name in almost every single  thread on this forum in some sort of negative context.  He was even alluded to in yesterday's thread regarding the sun bathing women at the temple !  The hatred they display for him is really quite astonishing
