BREAKING NEWS British lawyer latest to fall in Laos alcohol poisoning tragedy
There's a fairly simple moral to this story, don't order cocktails when in Laos! Drink beer only from a bottle that you can open yourself or that you can watch a bartender opening, or drink wine that you have purchased on your own. Avoid cocktails like they contain the bubonic plague. Unless you mixed them yourself from a sealed bottle. -

You Tube Premium.....can no longer pay with foreign Mastercard
Indeed, using a foreign credit card or a Paypal account linked to one for YouTube payments is not possible. I opted not to use my Bangkok Bank debit card to avoid cluttering the bank book, which is necessary for my visa extension, with minor subscription fees. Hence, I turned to True Money, which turned out to be quite the hassle and, in any case, it's no longer an option for YouTube payments. Ultimately, my only choice was to use AIS, which proved to be a dream experience. -

ICC Issues Arrest Warrants for Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant Over Alleged War Crimes
A Muslim heads the ICC, what else would you expect? It is Hamas leaders, the ones still alive, who should be arrested for starting this mess Oct. 7, with sickening atrocities, and still refusing to release the remaining hostages and giving themselves up. Hostages released, Hamas gives up, I assure you all bombing will stop. And it isn't Palestine, it is Gaza. -

Relaxed onward ticket requirements for connecting flights?
Hi All, I just wanted to share my experience with other members. I arrived at BKK on Nov 6 with a return ticket dated March 25. Since I had no visa and was entering with a 60-day visa exemption stamp, I assumed that I would need an onward ticket for my connecting flight in Seoul ICN. My point of departure was Toronto YYZ. Last year, I almost missed my connecting flight in Tokyo HND with ANA because I didn't bother buying an onward ticket. After much back and forth with airline staff, they finally let me board the flight to BKK. I didn't want a repeat of that experience so I purchased an time-delimited onward ticket before I left YYZ on Nov 5. As it turned out, I didn't need to even show the onward ticket in Seoul for my connecting flight. They never asked for it. Is this just a random thing or does it have something to do with the new 60-day visa exemption for Thailand. Or is this a difference in policy between Korean Air and ICN (2024) and ANA and HND (2023)? -

Why do so many Thai prostitutes marry their customers?
Well, yes, a few times, moved on when things were not, weeeell, perfect...😉 Those of us that have been married, know that every time was great, but when the honeymoon period is over, and the years rack up, things can go a bit pear shaped. When you actually make the plunge, get away from the bar stools, you may find out......😉- 1
