Police in Pattaya apprehended a Thai man on January 18th for possessing and selling methamphetamine and unauthorized guns.

Acting on an order from Pol. Col. Navin Sinthurat, Banglamung Police Chief, a team of investigators apprehended the suspect, identified only as Mr. Rueangrit, 35, on Thursday, following a brief investigation.

Mr. Rueagnrit was reported to be living at an abandoned building in Soi Batman in South Pattaya and involved in illegal drugs and firearms trade, according to the police’s intelligence. After spotting him walking around suspiciously in the area, the officers asked to search his body, and while no illegal items were immediately found, he reportedly confessed to recently taking methamphetamine.
