Gmail upgrade.

Featured Replies

Over the past two months I have received a notice to my gmail account about upgrade required by downloading either, Safari, Firefox or Chrome. This notice shows up one time per week and appears in the toolbar and shaded pink. I use an iPad and am afraid to do what is requested. I have spoken to my friends about this, who use gmail and nobody has experienced anything about an upgrade. Even friends in Australia say they have not seen this request to upgrade their gmail accounts. So, have any gmail users in Pattaya had any request to upgrade or is this a hoax. Thanks. Spudgun

Don't use the link to upgrade your browser. Upgrade it from the legitimate location for downloads and see if the warning goes away.

It is quite possible that if you are using a very old version of the browser some or all features of Gmail may stop working with a future upgrade of Gmail.

What are you using to read Gmail now?  And as noted above it current version?

It appears I get this request every Thursday. to my Gmail account.” Please upgrade to a supported browser or device.” This is very concerning as nobody seems to receiving this to their gmail account. Has got me baffled. Has anyone experienced this request?

Thanks.
