Max was my partner in The  Moon Garden.  I stopped in 1992 and started to work as a freelance agent, first around Thailand and extended it to Indonesia, but mainly Bali.  But than in 1996 I settled in Yogjakarta, central Java. And a lot of small accessories made up in East Java. I took that to Bkk and Chiangmai.  I wonder how its going in Chiangmai?

The Black Cat Bar has been gone for well over 20 years.

 

It was around the corner from the old Johns place.

 

I was in there a few times in the mid ninety's.

 

I remember the owner vaguely. 

 

It was probably the most well know bar in CM at the time. 

Black Cat bar was a welcome respite back on my first visit to Chiang Mai in the early 90's.
