There is no need for Trump to protect Harry like the current administration does. Markle has no links to the Republicans, unlike the many 'friends' she has in the Democrats. Plus Trump had a lot of respect for the Queen and the Royal Family while Harry has been trashing them to pay for his extravagant lifestyle of private jets, mansions and Range Rover motorcades while claiming to be a climate activist. 

 

Interesting that the main defense for Harry's admission of drug taking in his book Spare appears to be that his book was actually a pack of lies. Well, quelle surprise!! Many of us have been saying that since it came out.

Not sure about need but (1) the US (and current administration) provides no security for Harry and his family, and (2) Harry's spokesman has been quoted in the past as saying that Harry would not ask the US to provide same.

Understood. But the comments weren't necessary. For once I'd like to hear from him specifically what he will do to make our country better. Building a wall won't cut it.

I am sure the USA would not want to be the country that someone of Royalty or of a Political family were harmed, or killed in. Much like if a member of Trumps family travel to go hunting in S. Africa, or were to travel to Italy etc. This is what governments of Democratic (and maybe not so democratic) do. They offer and provide protection to heads of states, royalty, and other associated VIP's. At tax payer expense.

I'm no lover of the British monarchy. It will be abolished within the coming 50 yrs. However, Brits have bigger problems, viz the corrupt Tory government which is supported by their billionaire donor class that have cut Brit's social services to the bone.

The fact that the OP is quoting from the Daily Express is a red flag to anyone with a passing interest in the truth.

Then, the mention of the disgraced former POTUS (the orange man baby) in the mix proves that this is a clever diversion from the problems in UK and US .
