Taboo2
All it takes is one arrogant dude from the Neutral country to eff up the game. I am glad he got his visa revoked. That man has anger issues...and he is lucky that he has not run up against a pissed Thai who is trigger happy.

Seppius
Had a night on Walking street recently, I was surprised how many young farang guys were working on the street outside clubs, more than 30 I would say, put together with all the Russian staffed "tourist booths" around town, seems like work permits easy to get in Pattaya

I think they are difficult as part of an intentional strategy to drive us to use agents. Because agents pay them a share of the fee. I've seen it often enough.

The only 'harder' bit I see, is those who were trying to circumnavigate visa regulations are now finding circumnavigating visa regulations more difficult. For others - Thai Elite, Non-Imm O (Retirment, Marriage, Child) or Non-Imm-OA etc, Non-Imm B, work permit holders... the same regulations are in place, in some area's some documents are required in others the 'specifics of documentation' is a little more relaxed.... I see that it may be more difficult for some to get Ed Visas and Volunteer visas - but really, how many of those were genuine cases anyway ?

I am sure that there are far worse incidents going unreported by locals on themselves but they are deemed too unworthy or unpalatable to be referred to. Phucket Go is an English-language expat/tourist oriented publication isn't it? Incidents involving foreigners are, obviously, more worthy and palatable! So ... it needs to deal EQUALLY promptly with those committed by Thai nationals! Wow - you must be fun at parties, & careful up there on that soap box, its gets slippery and you'll likely slip under the burden of hypocrisy... .... You're also getting your 'isms' mixed up.... The religion here in Thailand is Buddhism, not Mormonism...
