Any outfit with a self appointed "maximum leader" is to my mind pretty suspect.

 

They have the right to campaign for their bizarre ideas, and to shout in as many echo chambers as they care - the thing about echo chambers is that you only hear yourself a split second later.

 

If they launch a political campaign then they can be opposed. If they move into illegal activity - for example with "gun nuttery" then they can be taken down. 

 

But at the moment they seem to be a collection of the sort of chaps which one would far rather didn't come and sit next to you on a bus!

I thought that constitutionally church and state were held separate in the United States - changing that would presumably mean a fundamental rewrite of the constitution!

In some ways, this is a sad group of aging men who long for a bygone era.  It's very much MAGA in nature, trying to take America back to--in their opinion--a better time.  But America has changed and will continue to change.  Sometimes for the better, sometimes worse.  Adapt or die I say.  They'll see the light soon enough as their numbers dwindle year after year.

Right wing Christian men makes it sound like a white supremist group.  That they mentioned Coeur d'Alene, Idaho in the USA is quite bizarre.  Coeur d'Alene, Idaho is a very small city in northern Idaho.  That area, especially just north of Coeur d'Alene, is well known and documented for being a bastion of white supremacy as was demonstrated in the 1980's.  This alone tells you a lot about the group and what their agenda is.

Yeah we regularly see about the costs...wonder how many if any have been jailed for the violence and for the takeover of that section of Seattle by the protesters!  Seems to be a trend now in the one party's controlled cities to ignore thefts of $850 USD when charging the thieves and many times no bail is necessary and that "criminal" continues their nefarious activities.  What a world in which we now find ourselves - which generation is responsible and is there any willing to fix it? or does the majority like what they see now?  Just wondering  BTW I am an American but old now!
