The Tourist Police have deployed officers with the aim of bolstering confidence amongst tourists during the upcoming Thai holiday season.

This initiative, led by Police Major General Pongsayam Meekhantong, Deputy Commander of the Tourist Police, saw a formal commencement on March 18, 2023, at Hua Hin Beach.

The move comes as Hua Hin anticipates a surge in visitor numbers through March and April, drawing both Thai and international travelers.

To this end, the Tourist Police are joining forces with various agencies to create a secure and welcoming environment for tourists.

A cunning stunt to fool the green-horns

Incorrect title

"Police do absolutely nothing as usual"

Its already hot enough without anymore hot  air

They're ramping up for the 1 day of songkran that we have each year here in Hua Hin.

I live in hua Hin and since covid we almost never see any police anywhere. A sighting is so infrequent we notice and comment on it.

I say let them, with the proviso you get no hospital treatment unless  you pay, should do it for Thais also, if  they dont care for their  own head thats their  problem, might  get an uptick in organ donations too!!
