Pattaya —Pattaya authorities apprehended a Thai man wielding a large knife on Sunday, March 24th, after he posed a public safety threat in Soi Thap Phraya 12 near Pattaya Park.

At noon, the Pattaya Police Station received a report of a disheveled man brandishing a large knife and acting erratically. Authorities immediately went to the mentioned location and also brought with them necessary riot gear.

 

Upon arrival, authorities encountered a shirtless man with a large knife in his hand. As the man noticed the approaching police, he attempted to flee across the road. However, officers swiftly intercepted him in a nearby alley beside a hotel. By using restraining equipment, they successfully subdued and secured him.

Double check please, I'm sure it was one of those nutjob foreigners we've been reading about lately. 

 

I read yesterday on a local forum that there was a foreigner in the same area begging for money and food, he had no money. 

Maybe this crazy Thai guy was looking for him.

Booze, hard drugs assorted  with cannabis ....a deadly cocktail that is creating global havoc and destruction.  But considering the money and corrupt officials involved, drug trafficking still has some very profitable years unfortunately.
