Trump's tactics are delay, delay, delay.

 

While the prosecutors, judge, and defendant's lawyers argue over whether the bond is genuine, it buys him more time.

 

IMO the cash is not there, or subject to some obscure clause in the fine print .

 

If/when Trump loses the appeal the cash won't be there to be seized in satisfaction of the awarded damages.

Sorry to disappoint.  I own no individual stock,  most notably Truth Social.

 

Only low cost Total Market index funds.

 

Unless Vanguard Total Stock Market has it in their portfolio of over 4000 U.S. stocks.  Which they may.  I have no control over that.

 

Along with Vanguard Total International Stock, Total Bond and Total International Bond.

 

Covered in all areas.  The decline of one individual stock doesn’t upset me.

The context was a protest called "stop the steal", which happened to be organized near the Capitol.

The context is also that the organizers did not declare that the they would march to the Capitol when they asked for an official authorisation, while sending messages stating that Trump wanted them to March to the Capitol.

The context is also that Trump did nothing to stop the assault for hours, just watching the assault on TV, with apparent satisfaction.
