She should try women rugby and get a life.

Says the keyboard-warrior.. In real life you would probably lock yourself in and sob helplessly if a khatoy came up and beechslapped you on the street.

I would suggest she respect the property rights of those legally authorised to be there and not intrude on private property as unpleasant consequences can occur, even for those deemed superior in the social hierarchy ladder.

I have party houses below my condo which are a real nuisance.  Playing music, loud talking, splashing in the pool, leaving debris everywhere, usually into the late hours of the night.  But I live with it as I only have a rinky dink elcheapo condo.  But if paying 1 million baht a month, I could understand the reasonable expectation to not have intruders affecting the renters rights.

Might be a good idea if you acquired some knowledge about this incident before posting comments; there were no property rights whatsoever to the steps on which she and her friend sat. The steps had been illegally constructed on public property and have since been dismantled by order of the local authorities.

The odious, entitled, Swiss slug, was the only one claiming superiority in (sic) the social hierarchy ladder … try researching a topic before commenting.

So sad to read such typical reactive negativity to a justifiable pursuit of action against an arrogant attack.

This  young Doctor and friend were sitting on the very boundary between  public and private property. Not advancing expectantly on a private pool well inside the property as given as a previous example to justify aggressive behavior.

That the victim is financially and occupationally well placed enough to viably pursue legal action is certainly an advantage as opposed to a situation where the victim is an aged vendor of such as fruit juices to eke out a survival income. In that circumstance it is unlikely identical aggressive actions would have ever come  close to news and the Swiss individual would be feeling further superior .

In the  western arena a simple wrongful placement of a hand can elicit claims of  assault. Yet it seems Western  opinion of a kick to the kidney area of a Thai woman in Thailand woman with her back  turned  is dismissable as false ?

I think you need to read the whole story first, and perhaps watch the video before you make a comment........:coffee1:

duh, you dork. It was public land. the steps were demolished. keep up with the news please

The retiree was what he is, not doubt. But not to overlook the local thai lady showing her farang bf/husband all around, acting big with his money and acting like a pop star. Their heads can turn also and cause such heated incidents.

It's nothing 20M THB can't cure.

Lets  hope she never has to go to an actual war zone, it was a  kick not someone getting their  head  blown off and  it falling into your  lap luv!

I bet the right  amount of  cash would  totally remove her ptsd

I don't care if she's faking it or not, hope she milks that swiss loser and his dumb wife dry and he gets the boot from Thailand. I have no sympathy for him at all.

Gawd, I finally agreed with Bob. Now I've got PTS disorder. Have to confess the Lao Khao is not helping like I expected.

Where do I go for compensation.

If this minor incident gave this Dr PTSD what will she be like working in a busy A&E dealing with people with horrific crash / violent assault injuries....when there is blood and guts and brain matter all over the place...?

It just doesn't work like that. I have a daughter who is a doctor. She's worked in A&E and had to deal with all kinds of major trauma, illness and death. She just gets on with it. She now works in Urology and is in theatre three days a week and clinics two days - mostly dealing with prostate/kidney/bladder cancer patients. But away from the hospital she's actually quite shy and even gets nervous returning faulty items to a shop. I can imagine her being traumatised if she were to have her name and picture splashed over national media.

Both the Swiss idiot and this Doctor are a piece of work. Apparently, neither has any class or control.

it always gets repeated in the news that the Swiss scumbag kicked the doctor in her back, but ... did she suffer a haematoma ? were her "wounds" medically recorded ? how hard does a shove have to be to be called a kick ?

Well he started it. And in the video of the incident he certainly doesn't come over as a particularly pleasant character.  Something odd about his whole background - a security guard in Switzerland then comes to Thailand and is renting elephants for his elephant sanctuary and living in a ฿1M /month villa? More holes in that story than in a piece of Swiss cheese!

Really?

Maybe she should think again if she is ready to be a doctor.

Imagine if she sees someone with knife wounds.

Do the knives fly out of the patient and stab the doctor in the back when they're not looking?

Milking it now or trying to

aah, she is trying to milk it, lucky she is not in america, she would be claiming a few million $$ for broken back, legs and ribs.

The big cowardly slug should have just asked her to leave, not kicked her in the back;

As I remember it, the gent said he thought they were the 2 Chinese tourists whom he had shooed away earlier.

Perhaps it makes a difference if it isn't YOUR violent assault  causing your own injuries?

Actually just posters milking it to reinforce ignorant Thai stereotypes and have an enjoyable bash.

Lived in the Philippines for fifteen years , now ten years in Thailand. Both Filipinas and Thai ladies of a certain social standing delight in being drama queens . Simple as that.

Is it necessary to suffer a haematoma before common sense tells you that a kick in the back is actually a kick in the back and not a "shove?" LOL.

His doctors milking it for all his worth has she gone to a doctor for her injuries probably not mentally stressed. She’s expecting to get millions from this foreigner, TT.

Let's see. Sitting on some stairs watching the night sky on the beach isn't "classy." Resenting being suddenly kicked in the back by an big arrogant Swiss nutter shows no class or control. If YOU were kicked in the back then you'd just wai and slink away.

Seems the ANF Poster Boomerang Principle applies: it's actually the poster himself who lacks class and control. Class is sitting on a bar stool.
