Nowhere in the article does it mention that 'she' is a ladyboy or man who is pre-op or post op.  The military draft (as the article says), is for men.  Therefore, without further information, I must assume that 'she' is actually a man, (because if she were female, then she wouldn't have to attend the military draft).

Every ladyboy should be made to take part in the draw... I'm sure there are duties to which they can use their skills to fulfill any requirements within the profession.

Why should they be allowed to skip the draw with a doctors note and then go back to work in the likes of Pattaya.

Having read recently of the navy conscript in trouble for releasing a video showing he was assigned to effectively be housemaid to a senior officer's wife including having to handwash her lingerie, surely there's opportunity for a specialist squad of not-exactly-men who could take such roles in the military?

That is normal for many enrolled in the thai army. Doing service the the officers and family.

I think they are if called up, they don't "skip" the draw but I expect fail the medical.
