Another reason why I avoid the 'festival', though not so much where we live now, but when at Udon Thani, the municipality used to pump water out of the rather stagnant, algae filled city lake.  Did have plenty of fish in it, but I don't think they minded.

That and the folks pumping from not so deep wells in the villages, all a bit suspect.

If you blast a gelatinous stench schmear in your rear, just ask for a good spraying to wash it out. Why look for a fountain?

Maybe wear an extra-LARGE condom on your head before venturing forth?

Works for me.

I tried that too, but had no success. Someone told me it only works for d1ckheads. So I gave up. Thanks for the thought though.

When looking for a fountain, just do not choose the same type of fountain used by that Farang, this past week, and written about in a Topic on TV, just a few days ago: "Foreigner's Shocking Behavior On Soi 4 Sparks Outrage"

You may be right:

Perhaps this strategy works ONLY for...."quality tourists".

None from Songkran water.  I managed to get it from time to time from dodgy seafood or licking dodgy as- at Windmill or Kink.

Never used to call it Diarrhea as a youngster.

Mother always told to us to shout Clinkers if an evacuation was imminent

Maths lessons at School naturally produced Clinkers daily on an epic scale.

rather unlikely unless you ingest larger quantities of it.

I'd rather bet on overexposure to the sun.

Head down, mouth closed on rare occasion a target for public water dousing.

Diarrhea immediately after experiencing songkran water?

More likely a major relaxing of the anal sphincter upon achieving the safety of private  accommodation.

Either that or the prawns eaten last night after the water they were  stewing in was repurposed  for  songkran?

Isn’t it usually 9 hours before appearing

On that subject, does anyone really know what quality is in the water in the ice blocks they shove in ones beer?

I tend to drink the beer quick, well before too much of the ice starts to melt so it doesn't dilute the beer.

Then get the bottle itself and shove in the ice before any second attempt at top up....get some funny looks though.
