A patriotic anthem released on North Korean state TV in April has unexpectedly gone viral on TikTok, where Western Gen Z users are bopping around to the synthy-electro hit.

The tune describes leader Kim Jong Un as "warm-hearted" and "friendly". Songs about Kim Jong Un and the ruling Workers' Party of Korea are broadcast regularly in North Korea.

Is that propaganda that is being propagated on North Koreans or on YOU (ie Westerners)?
