May 31, 20241 yr I think in general we argue with people who are roughly on our same level. I.e. if I would walk along a street and a beggar looks at me and tells me I am an ahole. Do I argue? No. I just ignore him. I guess for many famous people the situation is somehow similar. Should they really react to anybody who says something to them? Why? What would be the point? And what is the point of your statement?

June 1, 20241 yr One time I saw Bruce Springsteen in restaurant in Jersey City. I was like (silently), enjoy your fajita, Bruce. He had someone approach his table every 10 seconds. Another time, I saw Tito Puente in the same place. Tito wrote Oy Como Va, covered by Santana, my most played iTune to date (108 listens). As I was leaving, I passed by and said, "thanks for Oy Como Va, Tito". He laughed and waved He didn't argue, he accepted.

June 9, 20241 yr I've never met any movie stars, but I have met Actors and other Musicians I have not mentioned. I met Windsor Davis, I was doing Window Cleaning and did his house, what a Gentleman ! He made a pot of tea and biscuits, for me, then sat with me in his garden 'aving a cupper. RIP...
