Does Hua Hin Immigration allow the income method (monthly 65K+ deposits) without an embassy letter?  Chon Buri does.

Retirement visa extension no 800K in the bank.

About some silly stuff, as many embassies don't even issue letters any more, THANKFULLY.

I was pissed when TH stopped accepting letters, and even more so, when USA wouldn't issue a proper one.   Now I'm glad, as I save $50 a year, for nothing but a scam that it was.

Don't think embassy letters are relevant for income method. Requires a full year of monthly bank statements showing money being transferred from abroad AFAIK - but I'm relying on bits I've read, it doesn't apply to me.

Some embassies still issue confirmation of income certificates free of charge. In my case pension confirmation. Needs validating at the MoFA. HH accepts.

edit: Oh, this is an old thread I say!
