Any Laos beer for sale in Pattaya?

Featured Replies

I used to be able to buy this from a 7/11, admittedly that was some time ago, but I can't find it for sale anywhere now. Is it still imported?

Get yourself to Villa - they have Beer Lao original, dark, gold and IPA on their website, presumably they will have at least some of them in stock.

I bought a couple of bottles of this limited edition beer in Villa, but to be honest the Gold is much better.

If there is one grain that should never be added to beer, it's rice. 😝

I think all Beer Lao varieties use rice, as do many other beers.  Whether or not (or why) it should never be added to beer it still ends up as a better than average drink.  Chang also has rice, maybe they should add more.

I agree, the Beer Lao Gold, brewed using special Khao Kai Noy rice, is probably the best native lager-style beer brewed in the whole of SE Asia.

Was just looking for a box of Beer Laos and found that the new GO wholesale supermarket Sukhumvit has pretty much all the Beer Laos, didn't see any green, but IPA, Gold, Dark, White and regular and what I was after was the 640ml bottles which they have in regular and gold.

I was in Makro Sukhumvit yesterday, they only had Beer Lao Dark, IPA and white in small bottles only

Best Super Market Naklua Road near Soi 27.

Original Beer Lao, least hangovery beer in Asia if not the planet...for me anyway.

Can wake up with a thumping headache first hour or so at worst...think 5/6 BIG bottles in Laos over an early dinnertime to late evening and it just evaporates fast by before lunchtime next day..unlike Thai domestic poison that can be with you on punishing Day TWO.

Torture its double triple Laos prices effectively for big bottle quantity.

660ml or whatever it is 45/50 baht Lao side.

Lotus's at North Pattaya Road still do a number of Beerlao varieties including Beerlao Green in cans (the bottled ones are out of stock).
