PSI tv box connection to wi fi?

Connected the PSI box via LNB cable to the router and the PSI box to the TV via HDMI cable- says no connection no signal. Re started the PSI box and router, the same. PSI screen comes up on the TV but nothing else. Do have a dish but not the right cable connection. Thought it would be easy on wi fi but not, menu mostly in Thai of course.
