A young fried chicken seller in Samut Prakan has become a local sensation due to her striking resemblance to Lalisa Lisa Manobal of the K-pop group Blackpink, featured in the viral video Rockstar.

At Wat Asokaram market in Tambon Thai Ban, 36 year old Benyapa Muang Samut Prakan, better known as Gig, has been attracting attention alongside her 17 year old daughter, Kulthida, who goes by Yeehwa. According to Benyapa, Yeehwa’s resemblance to Lisa has not gone unnoticed by market-goers.

A Matthayom 5 student at Taphanhin School in Phichit, Yeehwa visits her mother in Samut Prakan during school breaks. While helping sell fried chicken at the market, many have remarked on her uncanny similarity to the famous singer, sparking considerable interest on social media.

Benyapa shared that Yeehwa, despite being shy and somewhat embarrassed by the newfound attention, has a burgeoning interest in the entertainment industry and participates in related activities at school.

“I’m happy and excited to resemble an admired singer like Lisa. I’m happy to be known on social media, and I would willingly enter the entertainment industry if ever the chance arises.”

The resemblance to the Rockstar singer has thrust the young seller into the spotlight, with many curious to see if this newfound fame might lead her toward an entertainment career, reported Bangkok Post.

For me thai teens all look alike. Like 3 type faces: Issanish, Bangkokish and Southerners.

Besides, cool name 'Yeehwa" - almost like Yahweh - one of the God's name!

Welcome to Bangkok! 😉

I am getting so sick of Lisa, just if there is nothing more important than a singer born in Thailand but educated in Korea.... but yeah if you don't have anything to be proud of because of a lack of inspiration, renewal, ideas.... you have to make something up

How?

555. Yeah, I don't get the Lisa phenom. Find her talent and beauty mid. Especially talent. I don't think the young woman looks anything like Lisa in picture

Thai women are so beautiful. 16 to 60 .. even after decades in E Asia - I'm still floored at how naturally attractive Thai women are. Add the makeup, clinics and minor surgery and imo have a larger number of beauties despite Korea, Japan, Chinese perhaps having the most beautiful.

N S or E. Living in central Bangkok as many beauties as 70s So California.

I remember a week or so ago I saw an issarn couple in the subway. They stood out bc both so dark. Both man and woman 40+ but both still very attractive. They were a great match and I just hoped there was love and good relationship bc they looked like such a great pair

*Vietnam also has some stunners.
