You simply are ignorant. Do some research outside of Breitbart. Illegals have taxes with held, social security, sales taxes, etc etc. Being illegals, they can't apply for refunds. Duh.

"Undocumented immigrants pay an estimated $11.6 billion a year in taxes.

Immigrants are also less likely to take public benefits than the native-born population for two reasons.

First, to receive most public benefits under the social safety net, immigrants must be lawful permanent residents for at least five years."

Jane, you ignorant slut....  (Old time fans of SNL back when it was still funny will get the reference)  Here it is, straight from NYC:

New York City has taken urgent action, opening more than 200 emergency shelters for the more than 110,000 migrants who have arrived in the five boroughs seeking shelter. Today, with approximately 10,000 asylum seekers still arriving each month, the city estimates this mounting crisis will cost taxpayers $12 billion over three fiscal years — an amount that will continue to grow without federal and state intervention and support.

That's one city, with 110K illegals.  Multiply that by dozens of cities in 50 states and 10 million illegals and it dwarfs the taxes in your story.

Crossing the border to seek asylum is not illegal.

Even if that were true (and it's not), accommodating 110K of them is expected to cost NYC $12 billion over 3 years.  By Adams' own numbers. (linked above)

Extrapolate that to dozens of sanctuary cities, border areas that are involuntarily inundated and other cities in all 50 states, and you're talking real money.  Which dwarfs the $11.6 billion that Emdog's link claims they pay in taxes.

Even Adams knows it's not sustainable.

Stop this fascist before it is too late.

Comprehensive Immigration reform yes.

Not this madness.

To add, if Americans think grocery priduce and restaurant meals are too expensive now

....

Unfortunately for a huge number of Americans, the lack of education is so extreme that they literally do not know anything about immigration policy. They know nothing about the quota system, they know nothing about how antiquated the system is, and they know nothing about the need for immigration reform. How do you fix illegal immigration before you fix legal immigration?

The US is no longer able to attract the best and the brightest due to an outdated quota system, and this is causing great harm to the nation. However slogans and jingoism seem to be all the rage right now, and it doesn't require an education to simply repeat a slogan.

President Joe Biden just recently referred to himself as the “first black woman to serve with a black president” and the first president that got “elected statewide in Delaware when I was a kid” in his latest baffling interview. Old sleepy Joe now thinks he is a black woman. You cannot make this stuff up folks and if you vote for Biden in the next election you are voting for "the first black woman."

For what reason should the US be the ONLY country with open borders??  Why?  What do they bring to the  table other than an underclass that will become Democrat voters.  It seems the blacks and Hispanics are wising up to the Democrats BS of being there for them.  Why aren't the borders open for Cubans?  They have lived under a hard Tyranny and vote Republican, this is why.  This is the reason the border is closed to them.  You are what the Democrats want.  If you live in the US, you would or do vote Democrat.  Don't forget the terrorists that are in the US plus the thousands of Chinese.  They all new to be gotten rid of.  We help build border for other countries.  All of the Marxist Democrat elites have walls around their homes.

What open borders?

That's just rhetoric.

He promised the same mass deportation plan in 2016 and didn’t deliver just like his plan to replace Affordable Carr Act, reduce cost of medicines, build the wall, raise tax for the rich etc. This another immigration red meat for his low information supporters who are stupid enough to believe Trump’s promises.

You mean the low information voters who claimed the laptop was real, Biden's kid was taking money from Ukraine, Joe is "the big guy", and the Hur report was actually being kind in its description of someone incompetent to stand trial?

Are people from countries not part of contiguous North/Central/South America, e.g Africa, China, Sweden, Norway crossing the border seeking asylum?

Just imagine what Thailand would be like without immigration laws. Sure there are many illegal workers but they do catch them and at least fine them.

Asylum seekers are not ‘illegals’.

What about people with false stories and fake documents? Back in 2016(?) Austria turned away 2000 "Syrians" at the border in one day who had false Syrian documents.

Is lying about your refugee/asylum seeker/persecution to obtain a benefit (and "benefits") acceptable?

Under international law, but some countries e.g. Australia have made it illegal under domestic law. Interestingly they have not made it official by resigning from the UN Convention of Refugees in order they can still claim to be "good guys"

Are you justifying unchecked immigration as a means of keeping food prices in check. Isn't that similar to Biden raiding the strategic oil reserve to keep gasoline prices  down?

Comprehensive immigration reform?  Why not first enforce the existing laws?

Thing is the existing laws are not addressing the new reality since those laws were passed. New immigration legislation is needed and both Republicans and Democrats hammered out a bipartisan bill to address this (after both parties have kicked the can down the roads for decades). OK, bipartisan attempt that the President had agreed to sign and … don’t do it says a Donald J Trump. Bill dead …

Well some weeks ago, the US Congress had a bi-lateral border control bill - but once they tried to floor it, the Republicans backed off and it died there.  There is no way to do anything right now that might fix any problems in the US because neither side will join the other to get things moving forward.  Maybe if both Trump and Biden were to withdraw from the November elections, then possibly something positive would occur...oh yeah if they both dropped out that would be super positive for a start...

They seem to think using slave labor as a justification to keep the price of cado toast down is normal. Back in the day it was the argument for cotton prices.

See, a bit of critical thinking. Stating fact is not the same as promoting. Was also true with the cotton debate in their time. Focus on the issue … is there an agricultural labor shortage? If there is how to address the shortage. We’ve been here before. Might want to visit the history of the Eisenhower Administration and immigrant labor just as one snapshot.
