As a tribute to King Maha Vajiralongkorn's 72nd birthday, 10,000 boiled eggs were given out to the people of Chon Buri by the Royal Volunteers. The handout took place at the Wat Woraprot Sangkhawat temple in the Phan Thong district.

Doctor Kriangsak Saengchan, a Royal Volunteer, joined forces with other volunteer groups and the National Municipal Association of Thailand (NMAT). They worked with Phra Khru Thawon Sattakhun, the head monk of Wat Woraprot, to carry out the distribution.

The eggs they handed out came from Wat Sothon Wararam Worawihan, a temple in Chachoengsao province, honored by the locals. The head monk of this temple, Phra Thep Phawana Wachirakun, donated about 340 trays of eggs for the occasion.

More than 200 locals came to the temple to collect the eggs. They were all packaged by the volunteers into bags for distribution. The event was filled with vibrant activity as everyone pitched in to guarantee that all attendees got their share.

This event took place in July in honor of the King's birthday, reported KhaoSod. The volunteers from different groups, including the Vihok Group and NMAT, collaborated on the project. The eggs are traditionally believed to bring good luck and prosperity and are known as fulfilment eggs.

Doctor Kriangsak reflects the common belief that eating these eggs can enhance one’s fortune. He said, "Even for those having trouble sleeping, these eggs are believed to bring peaceful dreams. Tradition has it that they help end suffering, sadness, sickness, and danger, and bring good luck."

The event underscored the significance of heartfelt goodwill actions. It demonstrated the unity and shared commitment of the Royal volunteers towards community service, all in the spirit of the royal celebration. They dedicated time and energy to carefully packing and distributing the eggs.
