A Florida judge dismissed the case against former President Trump for the handling of classified documents, and some legal experts are calling it a "strongly reasoned" opinion that eliminates the "greatest legal threat" to the presumptive 2024 GOP just ahead of the Republican National Convention. 

This is a stand-out decision from a great judge. I'm not sure about what happens next....can the loathsome and vindictive Jack Smith appeal the verdict? If he does, who adjudicates? The Appeals Court? or would this go straight to SCOTUS? I am assuming any new trials will be not be before November.  

To the above: Jack Smith will appeal initially to the 11th Circuit in Atlanta.

 

The decision by Judge Cannon mainly deals with the provision of Mr. Smith's appointment as a Special Counsel while a  private citizen  or --

 

ORDER GRANTING MOTION TO DISMISS SUPERSEDING INDICTMENT
BASED ON APPOINTMENTS CLAUSE VIOLATION

Most if not all the cases against Trump will be dismissed / reversed ... IMHO

As I recall, Trump had to put up $175 million to file an appeal in his NYC civil case.

As for that NYC case...Andrew Cuomo former Atty Gen NY:

 

Cuomo, in an interview Friday on HBO’s “Real Time with Bill Maher,” argued that the case should have “never” been brought forward.

“If his name was not Donald Trump and if he wasn’t running for president … I’m the former AG of in New York, [and] I’m telling you that case would’ve never been brought.”

“That’s what is offensive to people, and it should be because if there’s anything left, it’s belief in the justice system,” he added.

If this doesn't shut the case down surely this farce in handling, presenting the documents as well as the initial delivery will.

 

I expected at some point in time that even the most staunch Dems will see that continuing on this path will be ruining us for their careers going forward. The only people that will be on board to carry this BS forward will be those headed out with the  BS forward will be those headed out with the Biden administration.
