There never has been a communist country, plenty of dictatorships claiming to be, even the Soviet Union didn't give itself the title communist, it was a dictatorship that called itself the Soviet Socialist Republic of Russia. (no, socialist doesn't equate with communist)

In CHINA, its a fact that the judicial system is politically bias and you cannot get a fair trial.  All court judges are appointed by the government and thus have a strong political bias, not to mention the leaders of the local police force who also have a explicit and extreme political affiliation.

 

while they pretend to have checks and balances in place but the actual fact is they are put in absolute control for 4 to 8 years, and in the most senior members of the court system are appointed for life depending political  party they belong to, with no checks or responsibility for fairness in the system.

I agree. If like stated by @renaissanc the democrats are indeed "Radical Marxist" then the whole of Europe, Canada, Australia and New Zeeland are communist. After all even the US democrats are tending more to the right than most of these countries.

There is nothing wrong with a communist system in theory. The problem comes when humans try to bend it for their own purposes. In that respect, it is equivalent to fascism.

 

A long time ago, there was an article in "The Economist" which illustrated the problems of a planned economy. It was called " In the lunatic bus factory"

Two factories, bus and truck, Soviet Russia. The bus factory supplied the chassis for the truck factory.

The bus factory made more profit on the buses than a truck chassis, so supply of chassis was low.

The solution of the truck factory was to buy buses, demolish the coachwork back to the chassis, then build the truck.

No way anyone can kill the profit motive in humans.

Strike that last word and replace it with dictatorship. If the basis of communism is truly, "To each according to his needs, from each according to his abilities" then it would be an ideal system but it was never actually practiced, it was always dictatorships from the word go, it is wrong to criticize a system that has never been put into practice. I am not a Christian but the religion is often vilified these days but again it is a religion that has never been practiced by a whole society, the USA is not a Christian society despite all the hypocritical assertions and in Europe it has died out as a mass religion. Unfettered capitalism is a horror show as can be seen from the past in Victorian England or the late 1800's in America, only social democracy with controlled capitalism, a parliament, trade unions and a free press can control the worst excesses of the human psyche and even that isn't perfect, there is always someone or group willing to take advantage of the weak links in the system which exist in order not to slide down the slope to dictatorship. There is a lack of true spirituality within mankind which has the propensity to stamp on the weakest and take what they can.
