I Hate Donald Trump
Love the guy. A flawed human being of that there is no doubt, but exactly what does/did he do to endear so much hatred. Nothing - no more than anyone else in politics - especially the Bidens. But when you have millions of delusional people and you throw attack after attack after attack, and then add the media lies and distortions, and the result is millions who hate the guy. Some even enough to want to shoot him and others enough that they wanted him dead. Truly we are in a woke liberal world where being an awful human being that would want a politician dead is somehow OK. But if men with beards can call themselves women and beat them up at sports and use their toilets - then it fits - truly delusional. -

Never had much problem with dual pricing. Hard to see how even in bad cases it could be a financial risk to staying here. But I guess once you’ve been around you know the prices in market type places. But I do try and get quotes on vehicle repairs/maintenance and then just scan it for the translation. Once you do that you can Google prices. Also be careful in those big shops where they have a million things and no prices. It sometimes seems they quote the first figure that comes into their head -

Best UK Bank whilst living in Thailand
Unfortunately the new card readers are auto generated and not sent registered post, so the two they sent me never arrived, useless postman!, I'm lucky to get post once every 3+months, I changed my address to my daughters in the UK, as with the new card I can not trust Thailand Post for anything, if I do need something by EMS then I give my wife's shop address which is on a 'main' road, where as I live it's 75 meters up a small Soi, lazy Potman Lostman Postman. I have 2 card readers now........ -

Wise receipts + Thai bank receipts as proof of monthly transfers (retirement visa)
On your printed statement, not the bank book, what do your Wise transfers show as? Mine show as "Trade Finance Deposit" on an English statement but show as "ธุรกรรมต่างประเทศ" on a Thai version = "Foreign Transaction". And it makes no difference what reason I use for the transfer, they all show the same. -

There is the very odd hotel that you will need your passport and will not accept your drivers licence, ie the Nana Hotel in Soi 4 Bangkok and one in Petchabun which has a Thai name. -
