I’ll be in Chiang Mai for two months from September and don’t want to drag my guitar along on the ride. Is there any chance to buy a super cheap second hand acoustic guitar in CM so I can keep practicing and serenade my missus? Maybe there’s even the option to borrow one? Any type of acoustic is fine, as long as it’s cheap and doesn't fall apart at the first attempt of tuning it.

I have a couple of old classical ones from Japan that were student loaner models. Yamaha G-60A and an old Hashimoto.

I also have a very nice half guitar (label indecipherable) you might like if you are traveling. Full-sized fretboard. Very well built (even has a truss rod).

All could use new strings, but quite playable. You can borrow one for your duration.
