Is This TDAC?
Not too thrilled to hear about the queues as I arrive the same time as the OP this coming Thursday. Completed my TDAC this morning. Found it very straightforward and the email with acceptance attached arrived within seconds. I thought there was meant to be banks of IPad type devices for those who hadn't already applied to keep the queues for the booths manageable? Might have to try limping on Thursday when I arrive...... -

The human body: Between 10 to 30 thousand deseases possible. Cheers.
THE PROBLEM IS: As all major Pharmaceutical Companies have stopped to look for new "anty bacterial agents" (research too expensive and the end product not profitable enough), it is forseeable that eventually the microscopic bugs will win the "arms race". -

Finance Foreign Nationals Face Account Bans in Bangkok Bank Crackdown
That's just another bank run service that forces you -to exchange money through them to add credit, and you still need to get the cash in the first place, so it just adds one more step. Less than useless. -

Krungsri online banking discontinued from 1 October 2025
That, and the related cost cutting, are I believe what's behind all this on the Thais' part.... There are Thai companies still running Windows 98 and similar as their servers, and if I recall correctly, many of the Thai bank ATMs were/are running on outdated / insecure OS software. IMHO, it's a problem of their own making for failing to maintain secure tech systems, which most first-world banks seem to be able to manage most of the time without giving up on their platforms.
