Draft deferments were common at that time. Lots of young men who later rose to prominence used them- yes Trump, also Biden and Clinton and Cheney and Bush jr. 

 

The more that comes out about Walz, the worse it gets. Even his unit's chaplain was aghast at Walz' decision to quit at such a crucial time before his unit deployed overseas.

The RCP Average for Aug 12  shows Trump leading in 5 of 7 top battleground states. All 7 are within margin of error so everythings open. She will likely get a  short term bump immediately after the Convention. See where they are in October

The latest polls show Harris with a 4 point lead over the felon in each of the key swing States of WI, MI and PA.

 

If he loses those, he does not carry the EC.

 

Also worrying is that in massive Dade County, FL, the felon is 15 points behind Harris. Suddenly FL is a swing State.

 

It could well be a Harris landslide come November.

Maybe that is right but nobody expected Trump to win except maybe Michael Moore. Trump ran for personal aggrandizement, attention and fundraising.  Trump had been saying for months in 2016 that it was "rigged". Nobody was more surprised than Trump when Trump won.

Just my IHMO. Clinton was a fool for all the negativity she brought, she had the lack of insight to not put any effort into the Blue Wall.

Manafort provided Russia with the finding on the current state of the race.

They did the job of affecting those who  did not bother to vote.
