In a shocking incident driven by jealousy, a man set a woman ablaze, leaving her severely injured. The incident occurred in the Bang Khae district of Bangkok and has drawn widespread attention.

Police were alerted on August 22 when a woman, identified as Ms. C, 20, was doused in gasoline and set on fire in front of a small alley. The victim, suffering from burns on 80% of her body, was rushed to Bang Phai Hospital and later transferred to Siriraj Hospital due to the severity of her injuries.

The suspect, Mr. A , 26, is the older brother of the victim’s husband, Mr. B, 25, who had recently been released from prison after serving time for drug-related charges. According to initial reports, Mr. B and Ms. C had been married and living together in Chachoengsao with their 1-year-old son. However, Ms. C left the home after a disagreement and relocated to Bangkok.

Mr. B requested Mr. A's help in finding his wife. Mr. A located her in a local bar, intoxicated, and brought her back to his home. In an unexpected turn, Mr. A and Ms. C engaged in a relationship. Four days before the incident, Mr. B returned to find his wife and brother together but reluctantly accepted the situation. They allegedly agreed to live together as a three-person household, with plans for Ms. C to divorce Mr. B and register the new arrangement.

However, tensions arose when Mr. B tried to persuade Ms. C to return to Chachoengsao on the day of the attack, but she refused. Mr. A, visibly upset, asked his grandmother for 20 baht to refuel his motorcycle, left the house, and soon returned with a bottle filled with gasoline. Without warning, he doused Ms. C with the fuel and set her on fire in front of several onlookers. Bystanders quickly extinguished the flames and called for help, while Mr. A fled the scene on his motorcycle.

Authorities are now searching for Mr. A, who is still at large. Meanwhile, Mr. B remains at the hospital, tending the critically injured woman.

The police are continuing their investigation into the horrific act and are urging the suspect to surrender.

I have words, but would be banned if I printed them.

I've said this many times before, I feel that there are certain acts that we can commit in this world that are essentially a self-revocation of the right to consume oxygen. This act certainly qualifies, this man should be put down as quickly as possible. I would even advocate without a trial, l if there were a sufficient number of witnesses.

I do believe marriage is a sacred bond, and I do believe that one of our duties and obligations as a spouse is to be there for this person, and protect the person that we've sworn our devotion to. And if we can't do that it's best to just admit we are inadequate for the task, get divorced and allow our partner to get on with their lives.

So she left her husband then left her child alone at home and got drunk in a bar. When the brother of the husband found her she then had sex with the brother and all three lived together.

The mind boggles how such women can ruin men's lives.

You seem to forget that she is the victim here. If they all agreed on the relationship, then that´s all good. Apparently one seemed to rethink and punish her for something. That´s on him. Not on the woman! Try to get that into to you brain!

That woman left her husband, then left her child alone at home to get drunk in a bar and decided to have sex with the brother.

This woman caused all the problems. The men's lives were ruined by her. As the child's life will be ruined by her. What a thoroughly horrible person she is.

What is it with them needing mothers and grandmothers to constantly take care of them.

And why do they set people on fire when feeling jealous.

Well said.

I assume the husband will be "euthanized" like the pit bull in the other Forum...

Wrong, the horrible one here is easy to spot. It starts with Ca.

The woman isn't perfect, but she is also the victim of a horrific crime.

Her ex who has only just got out of prison, decides to burn her alive, how sick is that?

He deserves life in prison.

Well, that’s taking victim blaming to a whole new level, unprecedented even on this forum; pin a rose on you.

Why isn't it the Brothers fault as well ?

The woman precipitated this course of events. She left her husband. Then spent her night getting drunk in a bar, leaving her toddler without her mother. She then proceeded to have sex with the brother and shacked up with both. This was never going to end well. Because of a mother that was unfaithful, a cheater, and a drunk.

Of course the brother is to blame too, but it was this woman who ruined these men's lives, and this child's life.

No, it wasn´t. You can not predict an outcome that never happened. The one who ruined everything, was the man setting her on fire. He is the one that first accepted the situation, and then used horrible ways to deal with it. He is also the one, that never heard of possibility to divorce and go separate ways. That´s the normal thing to do. If done the normal thing, everybody would still be alive and well, no life ruined. A life is not ruined just because of a possible divorce and separation.

   Two separate issues .

The relationships  are one issue and you can judge what is right or wrong about that .

Th other issue is hitting other people , violence and setting them on fire , there is NO excise for his actions .

He is completely responsible for any violence he bestows upon others  , no one else is to blame for his actions

Sorry, that's a fantasy conclusion. It does not reflect the facts. The actions of the brother were not divorced from what the woman did. Her leaving her husband, getting drunk in the bar leaving her toddler, then having sex with the brother and living with both, all these acts were causative steps which led to this tragedy. The final act did not happen in a vaccuum.

You can package it up this way so you can blame the brother only, but that's a fiction. In reality, the woman's acts had a causative character. Like I said, the brother too is to blame, but his actions did not happen out of the blue, there were causations, and the woman precipitated this tragedy with her prior actions.

So you cannot read?   No, that was not reported.

Her husband (not "ex") did not set her on fire, that was the brother-in-law.
