Yes! exactly that was a case of some freak from Italy-Spain (somewhere there) about 20+ years ago. Police apprehended him with a teenager and he said he was not a pedo, but gay on "receiving side".

It doesn't matter what type of person he identifies as. You do not let yourself be alone in your condo, home or apartment with an under aged child for any reason, period. If you're a teacher, you go to the students home where a parent is in attendance, or the parent goes with the child to your home. This way no one can accuse you of doing anything wrong, and no child will be hurt.

Come on mate. Be realistic. What foreigner teacher would take home a 14 year old girl from school and keep her there for hours. If he was teaching her, he would asked or said something to the parents or done it in the school.  Most certainly, he would not bring her to his apartment alone.

The 14 year old being in his condo without parent consent, and without others present, was a mistake and there should be some consequence for that. However, I for one am not ready to damn the teacher completely. 14 year old Thai girl screamed and kicked as he dragged into his condo...not. Who hugged who...of course Thai girls would never do that. He wouldn't be the first foreigner to get conned for a few $$. So let's just wait and see.

Another strange point - the incident allegedly happened on February 16th, the mother found out on March 16th and the arrest on September 3rd... Something's not right here
