I am not an American. I am an interested observer; I have several times explained in detail my interest, and why I see the events and outcomes of this current election as important, for the "democratic world". A very significant feature of the Trump/MAGA campaign has been association with less savoury elements of what may be described as the far right. Association, and implied endorsement by a variety of of organisations which exist to promote racial segregation and white supremacy, individuals with links to the Klu Klux Klan and NAZI inspired groups emerging into the sunlight and mixing with Trump and his team. Quite often his "slip shows" and we hear announcements and see images which are then explained away as "misunderstandings", fabrications or that ever present "fake news". Being aware of and mentioning these associations bring accusations of being a "Trump Hater", I don't hate him per se, I despise him, for his cynical deceits, lack of respect for the law, general misogeny and racial opinions. I dislike his character, amoral behaviour and his often gruesome taste. Now if he wins the Presidency, a possibility given his obvious intent and previous attempt, to bamboozle, bluster and threaten his way through and past the electoral process and bully either Congress or The Supreme Court to appoint him, then these characters and the interests they represent are going to expect to be rewarded for their support. They are inherently racial and non democratic by nature, and will expect their rewards to reflect that; enough hints have already been dropped, raw meat thrown, to certain sections of his base. That is what I dislike about Trump and MAGA, this is what I think would have grave consequences for democracy and the rule of law under Trump/MAGA. This is why I comment as I do. Comments which, interestingly are echoed, or perhaps more accurately echo, many significant and experienced people, with no particular political affiliation, within the American civil and military establishment. -

You can only be registered in one Yellow book, so make a choice. The Civilian Registration Act 2008 states; Section 38: The district or local registrar shall issue a household registration for persons without Thai nationality having been permitted to stay temporarily and those having been giving leniency for temporary residence in the Thai Kingdom as a special case in accordance with law on immigration and the declaration of the Cabinet and their children born within the Thai Kingdom. In a case of permission of temporary residence overdue, the registrar shall immediately dispose of such persons. First check the requirements at your Amphoe. These days most will request an Embassy certified copy of your passport, translated to Thai, then legalised by the Consular section of the MFA. Some may also request an Embassy certified copy of your Birth certificate, translated to Thai, then legalised by the Consular section of the MFA. There is no requirement to be married or own property, but you do require the permission of the homeowner to register at their address. Coming to Thailand
Losing bank interest was not my only focus (was just saying) when not wanting to go the non O journey. As I have said I want to do approx 30 day swings which suits ME considering issues of holidays, cost, health and home in oz Jetstar fares ok with me as is cost of two evisa METV's per year which should be hassle free entry compared to 6 VE's @30 day ea or 3 VE's @ 60 days ea. For me peace of mind outweighs the extra cost but of course each to their own. Thx for the VE guidelines. -

Well, as your point was merely to blow smoke I'd say I aced it, and not by cheating like a little punk the same way Donald does. America's former top soldier, serving as chairman of the JCS for four years, gives a damning assessment of Trump (like every other top official that served in his administration) and the MAGA crowd goes full on pearl clutching. Pathetic.
