I'm starting to ask myself why Trump would want to be captain of the Titanic. The American ship of state is doomed and the day of reckoning has all but arrived at this point. Nothing can be solved by tinkering with interest rates or scattering helicopter money as in the past. The US passed the point of no return by allowing unrestricted invasion of fighting age men from the third world. The country is morally bankrupt to the point it can't even distinguish between male and female anymore, and its leaders are hopelessly corrupt and inept.

 

So why not just let Harris have the job?

 

Whoever ends up in the White House is certain to preside over the final demise of the USA. How fitting that it should happen with the first woman president at the helm leaving no question of the abject failure of everything she represents. Look at how Herbert Hoover is remembered. And things were not nearly as bad as they are now. Whoever becomes president will become the next Herbert Hoover jacked up on a cocktail of steroids, amphetimines and hormone blockers. Who in their right mind would want to be remembered in history with that distinction?

 

The American people pissed away their birthright and Judgment Day has all but arrived. How fitting that its humiliation should be spearheaded by the likes of Harris as it bends over for the grandaddy of all canings. America better brace itself and grit its teeth for the first swift, skin-breaking stroke with the cringeworthy sound of an amplified cackle in the background.

I agree with everything you say. But I disagree with the assumption that there is still any kind of real choice in the process. Look at what was allowed to happen in 2020 and how the country suffered as a result. If there was ever a time to push back, that was it. That ship has sailed. They won't even investigate the assassination attempt on Trump!! As I said, there is little to be done at this point except to repent and brace for the consequences.

Im unsure if the elections are legit anymore. USA might be just as controlled as thailand, theres no way to know

They may be legit. It will be very hard to prove otherwise. People who do not need submit proof who they are can not be traced. So, i expect a lot of fake votes coming in. Also, the news services are completely biased towards Harris. The have never fact checked her or revealed something bad she did in the past and when independent news does it, Democrats and their controlled news services brush it aside or try to paint a rosy picture about it. 

I am in no way saying Trump is a good person. He speaks his mind and does what he wants without worry he may rock the boat in doing it. I do not think that is bad though. When he was president he was always attacked negatively by the Democratic news services for speaking his mind and exaggerating to make a point. I think those who like him also feel they have the right to speak and do what they want within the limits of the laws. He was never given a positive feedback to his tweets haha... 

But tweeting and running the country are not the same. I would much prefer someone who has strength and makes the world worry at what reactions the country would take for their indiscretions than knowing they can walk all over anyone without serious repercussions from the USA. Harris will allow and has allowed this to happen since she has been in office. Why? because wars make the rich, richer. Expect war to happen even more with Harris. Personally, I think she will allow so many illegals into the USA that the war will be fought from within. No need to nuke the USA when the people inside the country can attack easily. The same as the sniper who shot at Trump. So easily he was able to get close. Under the noses of the police inside the building. With bystanders watching and trying to warn the secret service.

As Churchill once said, "Americans always make the right decisions.....after they have tried everything else."

Over time the US has shown great capacity for reinventing itself.  A capacity which gives continuing hope for the future and not just of the US, whatever the current mind-boggling problems might be.

 

As his performance in The Debate suggests, Trump has no capability now for self-reinvention. He has nothing more to offer than what we all saw the other night. Which was pretty awful and - in my view - rules him out for the Presidency.

 

But La Harris is learning & growing on a daily basis. Does that make her perfect? No. There'll be many a stumble but she'll grow in to the job and ... Well, we'll see.

 

So the choice is between hopeless and hopeful.

As little as 160 years ago, the US citizens had up to 4 or 5 political parties to hitch their wagon to. Since then, the choices have been dumbed-down to where you're either a Republican or a Democrat and the polarization has really deepened since 2016. That's what you get when you prevent a once-upon-a time political dream of a 'land of the free and home of the brave' from maturing. You get a nation that's hide-bound by more federal and state legislation than one can shake an angry MAGA cap at. Freedom? Most Americans wouldn't know what to do with it if they had it. They need their laws, they crave their laws. They are a beaten and coven shambles with no clue that they're being played.

 

In the meantime @DougieMax, I suggest you try and get over yourself. If you don't like what you just read, don't read anymore. If you really, really don't like what you just read, don't comment. You're not cut from the right cloth to either be clever or save anonymous souls on an internet forum. And try and take comfort that when your great country does go down the toilet, at least you'll be in (maybe?) Tokyo.
