Home sweet Home, Country Practice

Prisoner

Sad another tv star passed away

I had no idea Jon Blackman also  died last month

A lot of that Aussie humor from decades ago would be banned from TV now.  Just goes to show what direction the country is heading in.

Those old British comedies the same.  Eg.  Benny Hill, Love Thy Neighbor.  Sexist, racist etc.

Just all PC, Woke, whatever, BS.

The only place with freedom of speech and humor now is on the stand-up comedy show stage.

Reality is that this thread / the discussion in this thread is focused on a time period.

There's lots more stars have come and gone that most of us are pretty much unaware of and there's the current stars which most of us (especially living abroad) have never seen.

This is life.

Spare a thought for those Australian actors that took their own lives as well.  RIP.

Yes my favourite Home & Away star Dieter Brummer RIP

I think actually there was a few H&A stars who took that way out sadly

Heath Ledger comes to mind, but there's been a few over the years.

He was one of the top journo's in his day.

Been around the world, reporting on the big stories, and interviewing the big names.

R.I.P.
