Not wanting to derail the topic, but never went to Texas chicken. Never went to Jamie Oliver either. Wonder how Gordon (Chef) Ramsay is doing with his affiliated ventures in Bangkok. Anyone been?

Did Taco Bell ever make it here ? Have a vague  recollection  but not sure.

Almost 30 years ago there was a branch in Siam square.

I eat spicy Texas Chicken fairly regularly, so not happy about this.  Prefer it over KFC because not as greasy.

Hard Rock is still open in Pattaya

I thought the hotel shut down a few years ago or was it a refurb, change of ownership?

Hard Rock cafe is OK if it expensive......But at least the waitresses dont have that very annoying and very Fake friendliness like the Hooters girls do.....That was a very happy day when Hooters closed in Pattaya...

TGI Friday gone?? Don't remember seeing one for a long time.

Planet Hollywood was here for a bit back in the days in Gaysorn Plaza.

I miss Popeyes from when they were in Pattaya.

Yes, Wendys in BKK, and also Arbys in Patpong is much missed.

Or maybe they charge double as all the Texas Chicken lovers fight over their last pieces of chicken 😀

After reading here that they are closing down we visited Texas Chicken this evening, Jomtien.
Never seen so many people there before, this location is usually quite empty with fast order service.
Today it took us over 30 minutes to order and get our food. Looks like the news are spreading that they’ll soon be gone.

Yet all these places are so busy in the Philippines

Kenny Rogers fast food , Carl's etc etc

Filipinos love them

That's because Filipinos are so Americanised, they love their crappy fast food chains. Generally anything bland and oily is a hit there.
